About Us

Local creative professional and brand designer Ashley Muir built the FOUNDRY, a Co-Working space for creatives. Driven to create at a young age, Ashley’s creative talent led her to make a career in the arts as owner and founder of Wldfyr, a Doylestown Branding Agency, and establish herself as a significant figure in the Philadelphia design community.

Like many artists, Ashley met many challenges early in her career that made her question her abilities and the possibility of finding success in her field. In 2016, Ashley found herself at a pivotal moment in her career with the opportunity to diverge from her path as an artist, which would mean using her creativity to contribute to business differently. After being invited out to San Francisco to test the waters, Ashley had the opportunity to meet with fellow designers whom she hadn’t seen since her days at art school. Through that experience, Ashley realized the true power of connecting with other creatives and returned home to find her tribe.

Upon her return, Ashley met Doylestown Design Powerhouse, Chanin Walsh, at a Women’s Business Forum event. Over lunch, they shared their vision of a space where creative professionals could work, create, and thrive. Chanin’s proposal for a location was the catalyst, and in June, The FOUNDRY opened its doors. Five years later, Ashley took the reins, revitalizing the mission to create a shared co-working space for creative professionals.

Today, The FOUNDRY stands as a testament to this vision, offering a platform for creative collaboration, community, and growth.

We offer three tranquil spaces designed for creatives to bring their ideas to life. At The Foundry, our mission is to foster an environment where entrepreneurs and creatives feel supported, inspired, and part of something greater. We understand that building or growing a business comes with challenges, and the right setting can make all the difference. That’s why we’ve created more than just a workspace—we’ve built a community where ideas flow, connections form, and collaboration thrives. Our property at The FOUNDRY West is intended for a widespread yet communal workspace. All of our official FOUNDRY events- including our seasonal Open Studio Times & Happy Hours, are held at this location. This building has a total of three private offices as well as several desks in the general open area. This space accommodates a sizable conference room that can accompany over ten seats around the table. Out front we have plenty of rocking chairs to kick back for a quick phone call- or to take in the good weather. We are also equipped with a kitchen to keep your lunch-break meals fresh. Snacks are regularly stocked for any colleague to enjoy at their leisure. There is also a wheelchair accessible ramp at the back entrance. Our personal parking lot lies out back to assist all our coworkers and guests alike; whether you’re meeting a client, coming in for a workday, or attending one of our FOUNDRY events.

Our space at The FOUNDRY North is designed for professionals seeking private offices within a quiet, collaborative environment within a total of 3 floors. The building features four newly renovated private offices and a well-equipped conference room with a flatscreen TV. Conveniently located within walking distance of SkyRoast Coffee, the Doylestown Courthouse, Heirloom Genevieve’s, and the County Theater, this space offers both comfort and accessibility. Snacks are regularly stocked for all to enjoy, and amenities include secure entry, high-speed internet, access to the shared conference room, and a few dedicated parking spaces.

This building harbors private office suites for more of our professional creatives. It currently holds as the headquarters for a few of our members. This space is equipped with one FOUNDRY designated parking space. Additional amenities include secure entry, high-speed internet, and easy access to the general conference room.
